The last ride we did was up to the Menock Pass and surrounding area. When we set of home, we soon realised we were making good time and would have made it back with time to spare, so we turned around and went back..  Big Grin Ended up riding to St Marys Loch.. stunning road and scenery.

Great. That is exactly what I am talking about! Is that your channel? Probably not since he has a Honda CB500X and I don't recall that as one of the bike you have. Lovely pictures above also.  WAM_thumbsup WAM_thumbsup

As some on here may know, one of the main foci for me having a bike is to get away and go motocamping. Am yet to try wild camping, given that it is a PITA in Texas, so I live vicariously in Europe via YouTube.

Cracking road the Mennock Pass, rode it last summer up to Wanlockhead. Amazing riding in SW Scotland and along the border region. I might be wrong but I think wild camping is only legal in a handful of areas in England (like Dartmoor) without the owner's permission, but in Scotland it is generally legal in most places.

That's correct, although, in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs you need a permit, it's only £4.00. We camped on Loch Earn earlier this year.
