Hey all. Just checking in on the roster, praying all are well. Looks like some nasty destruction, from this front sweeping across the States.

Plenty of warning on these storms. (Our neighborhood sirens went off 3 times yesterday evening.)
Not a big fan of Amazon (as you might infer from other posts). Tragic loss of life in a relatively flimsy structure in Illinois -of course, outside the tax structure of Saint Louis and Missouri. (Aerial footage shows some neighboring structures without visible damage - though sometimes tornadoes simply do that.)
Similar tragedy outside Baltimore a few years ago.

Here is the view out of my front door this morning. No snow by my house yet.
I didn't ride today, I drove to Denver and went to the new Revzilla store (very small, a disappointment), a new Cycle Gear closer to my house, and to a couple of dealerships. A good day.

72 F right now with 40 to 50 mph gusts.
They say gusts will increase to 80 and 100 mph by late afternoon.

It was warm enough I waxed both cars in the garage today.
I don't think I've ever waxed a car in December.

It's been in the high 60's to low 70's here, but kind of rainy and windy (fortunately not the 100 mph winds predicted yesterday). Unfortunately I haven't been able to get out for a ride lately.

Late afternoon, early evening winds were 70 to 80 mph.
After that it settled down to around 60 mph until mid morning.
Before going to bed I went outside and could smell the smoke from the Kansas fires.
I don't think we have any damage. When it gets lighter I take a look.
