The E22s can be mounted on either side, so narrow end at front or back. I haven't painted the tops - it's just sunlight!

Thanks, its a toss up between this set up and Shad SH35. I already have the P3 rack system as my bike came with them, so will be a bit cheaper than your set up albeit wider, but racks not removable, though they are discrete.

Close call! Starting from scratch the Givi system was slimmer and cheaper, which is why I went for it. With the 3P racks already there, and they are indeed discrete, I guess it boils down to how wide you want to go. As I said above, I do a lot of filtering. YMMV!

This is my choice of luggage, not sure of the width, I'll measure when I get home tonight and post the result.

It's a quick release givi rack system so I can, if i needed to, whip it off in a minute. Panniers are V35's, box is the givi weightless, I also have a 48ltr trekker.
