That's anyone's guess. As I understand it, the RS4 wasn't made at the NY plant. All of the RS4s I've owned were manufactured in Japan RE: Round, Rubber, Rebate - Lee - 11-13-2024 (11-13-2024, 10:32 AM)36654 Wrote:(11-13-2024, 09:16 AM)Lee Wrote:(11-13-2024, 08:01 AM)36654 Wrote: A couple of sellers on Amazon are currently offering decent prices on RS4s. $205 for the rear and $157 for the front. The ones on our bikes were made in Japan. I don't remember where the RS3s we had in the past were made. I probably wont need new tires until the end of next year. My current front has 1500-miles of wear and the rear is at 5500-miles of wear. I ride a bit more than 6K per year. The current price is good, but do I really gain anything by holding tires for a year before mounting? RE: Round, Rubber, Rebate - Motorhead1977 - 11-13-2024 Just glad I replaced my tires this fall. Shouldn't need to do that again until next fall or the following spring. RE: Round, Rubber, Rebate - BobAin'tStoppin' - 12-18-2024 This looks like a good deal on Pirelli Angel ST. Anyone have experience with them? https://www.amazon.com/Pirelli-Street-Touring-Motorcycle-70ZR17/dp/B07K8R48R2/ref=sr_1_1?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.7cXnv8q9GukCxsOwZ9ZT2h_B23k_ZuSY1WzjhpTPCJAsS5HKHLl-2E5ZhNYhastqKDYn51ee04Ao3AKf-BXuSrx6DZfUCRAcHyAM3xzXoKAO6sdyP9HIrhrefW38OSXAQpK6jzmVz4_G94li_f5MCjABsbxvMAfkUF0h0JtSAs7TS8vhID0B3SzJgQXhp9YaDGtIZqdT1y74UGL00CatZDIp2uBWL0S_iFp5pVqxxUQ.wXkcNbvRJWEvQGgb0_kKkWIOjo_T29vscuGUFfbrNus&dib_tag=se&keywords=pirelli&m=ACW8M2QXR07XT&qid=1734461068&s=merchant-items&sr=1-1&th=1 RE: Round, Rubber, Rebate - Grumpy Goat - 12-18-2024 (12-18-2024, 06:21 AM)BobAin'tStoppin Wrote: This looks like a good deal on Pirelli Angel ST. Anyone have experience with them? That's a darned nice price. I have no experience with these older (2009?) model tires but it's a great name and should be good especially at that price. Here is a review from Rider Magazine as well as others here in this Google search. And it is in keeping with the philosophy of this thread. ![]() I wonder if there is a similar deal for a set of Pirelli Scorpion Rally STRs for the Tiger ... ![]() RE: Round, Rubber, Rebate - Lee - 12-18-2024 I know a couple guys who really like the Angle GT but don't know anyone who uses the ST. |
