Suspension Serviced - af1-windy - 12-16-2023

Collected my fork legs and rear shock from Home (theworkshopyork.com)

All serviced, stripped, cleaned, new seals, oil and anything else that was required, plus I had the spring powder coated, it was looking a bit sad.  Confused

£329.00  not sure how that compares to elswhere but it seems ok to me and I'm more than happy with the service. Paul is very knowledgeable and takes the time to talk with you about what he's done to the parts.

I'm working this morning and family stuff this afternoon, but hopefully get them all fitted tomorrow, along with my shinny Red wheels, and then i can take some photos..  Big Grin

Cheers, windy

Fork legs and rear shock re fitted.. no real issues, although the rear shock bottom bush didn't want to slide in to the swing arm mounting.. jeeze it was tight..  Confused

I have decided to service the shaft drive so I won't be fitting the rear wheel until the Christmas break.

However, I have fitted the new Red wheel to the front, what do you think?

I reckon it will look better with the rear fitted and the Red frame in the photo..  Huh

It does look spicy, that’s for sure. It certainly will upend the concept of the RS being the “gentleman’s sport bike”. Red wheels and red frame with white panels … should look hot.

I think the red looks great!

Are the what appear to be blue light covers on the OEM driving lights legal to operate on the road in the UK?

Apologize for distraction from a suspension thread.

Probably not, but when the lights or on, they're not as blue as you'd expect them to be.. I'll take a photo and post up.  Smile
