Welcome! Yes, please share some info. What are you riding? Some great rides in central and western NC. Do you have any little known favorites you are willing to share?

Yes, Ex-Harley rider, started on H-D around 1969. Family tradition. In 2008, Purchased first BMW Dual-Sport F650 Dakar. I have owned a 1150GS, a 2006 1200GS, 2013 90 Year GSA, a 2014 1200 GSA. and now I ride a 2016 R1200RS, and a 2023 KTM 890 adv. I do have a couple of places I really liked to ride, but they got wiped out with Helene. They went from double-track to single track and are un-passable at this time. I have been based in W.N.C. for 41 years and grew up riding such roads as the "Dragon" before it was famous. I have been retired for 20 years so I have been able to cover E.Tenn, W.North Carolina, N. Georgia and Virginia on pretty much a daily basis. I have slowed down a little, a few medical problems, but I refuse to quit riding as long as I still lift my bikes off the kickstand. Proud veteran of UNCLE Sam's Canoe club and I have said all I can say. Happy to Join a forum as informative and knowledgeable as this. Lets go catch some air! Later
