Hello!! - DasBeemer - 04-08-2025

Hey Everyone!

Just picked up this 2016 R1200RS.

Owned and maintained by a professional mechanic and moto journalist prior to my purchase. Full maintenance records. Dealer says the bike is in excellent shape.

117,000 miles. While the mileage is higher than I would like, the price was not IMO. Paid just over $3000 for it. Ride home was great. Zero issues.

Bike has premium package with all the bells and whistles. Came with aftermarket exhaust, two windscreens, handlebar risers, front axle sliders, engine guards, panniers and top box, aftermarket pegs, extra set of headlight bulbs and housings, an extra rear seat, and other miscellaneous parts.

I think I made out alright. Do you agree? Now I just need to take care of it as well as the last guy!

About me: Been riding for about 10 years with 100k miles of experience.

Started out with a 2002 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. Them moved onto a 2010 Kawasaki Concourse (1400) then a 2021 BMW R1250RT-P. Yep.. start tapping your helmets lol.

I’m no longer riding for work so, I was lucky enough to find this for the price. Kinda in between everything I have ridden think. I’ll be mostly freeway commuting with some cone work every once in a while. Super excited to be back on two wheels.

Let me know what you think!

Welcome to the RS family! Looks like a good bike. The price is equivalent to my paying $300 for a car way back in the mid 1970s. What's not to like? WAM_thumbsup
