Building Ray's Next BMW Motorcycle - darrell - 01-30-2020 BMW Motorcycles - Worlds Biggest Motorbike Factory | Full Documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yROGg3_vHBc About 50 mins long Documentary released on 1/21/2020 RE: Building Ray's Next BMW Motorcycle - Duccrazydave - 01-31-2020 Excellent video! Very satisfying to see such a complex compilation of parts being "married" together. Love the additional racing and historic bits, as well. Thanks Darrell! RE: Building Ray's Next BMW Motorcycle - Lee - 01-31-2020 Thanks, very interesting. Surprised the documentary didn't follow the production of a 2020 model. It appears BMW wants a democrat for president RE: Building Ray's Next BMW Motorcycle - Lee - 01-31-2020 Here's a article on BMW's test facility. https://canadamotoguide.com/2020/01/30/inside-bmws-super-secret-french-test-facility/ RE: Building Ray's Next BMW Motorcycle - Olgry1 - 01-31-2020 Thanks Darrell RE: Building Ray's Next BMW Motorcycle - Ray - 01-31-2020 (01-31-2020, 02:32 PM)Lee Wrote: Thanks, very interesting.Right - this was filmed in June 2017 according to some of the body work labels. Great video, nonetheless. Darrell. Until they get the exhaust back down and put on the luggage rack and perhaps a drive shaft, I'll probably only be a fan of the RR and not an owner - though the video chipped away somewhat at my resolve to hold out for what I want. For those interested - Keith Code's group received their 2020s (making the 2018s available for sale). I'll be on one the third day they're available - at the Pirelli track at Las Vegas Speedway at the beginning of March. Should be fun. As you know, nothing like learning to smooth out a rocket to get the brain, eyes, and body fast enough to make the RS seem comfortable and safe on the road. Last time I was there, the coaching book had close to 200 different exercises to fine tune one's relationship to the bike and road. Ray have fun at your upcoming track day! I totally agree with "learning to smooth out a rocket to get the brain, eyes and body fast enough to make the RS seem comfortable and safe on the road". I did a Keith Code Track day a number of years ago at Black Hawk farms just north of Rockford IL. Since that time I did a half dozen or so track days with Sportbike Track time at the Autobahn Country Club. The last two track days were on a S1000RR.
