Sargent Seat Flashlight Upgrade - Chris216 - 01-23-2021
If you have a Sargent seat that came with the flashlight (a nice touch, but a bit under powered) I think I have found a good upgrade. Since I like Stream Light flashlights, I looked through their selection until I found one close dimensionally to the Sargent supplied unit. This is PN 717003 Stream Light Jr F-Stop. It is slightly larger, but fits nicely into the clip under the seat and has adjustable spot and flood beams. It is much brighter than the Sargent. Nice. I used to ride a lot at night for lack of time during the day. I have come to carry be the American-made Surefire Stiletto flashlight in my riding pants and I carry a spot/flood headlamp in my tool kit for repairs - though with a ball cap, the flat Stiletto will attach to the brim.
