Day ride on my S1000XR - runnerhiker - 06-21-2021

We had a cool temperature day here near Boulder CO, a high of 73. I went for a day long ride in county roads and canyon roads, I left at 10 am and returned at 5 pm, the high and low temp's during the ride were 73 and 56 (low at 8000 ft elevation).

I rode Stove Prairie Canyon, Rist Canyon, CO-14 Poudre Canyon. The pictures below were on Rist Canyon NW of Fort Collins.

Sweet. I need to get to Colorado, riding in Texas became a morning only thing this month.

Same here. Nice change after a stretch of mid 90s.
Nice pictures.

I used to be able to ride in the Texas heat, but not anymore, getting old is hell, even if it's better than the alternative.

Colorado certainly has a fantastic mix of great roads and great scenery.

Phil, come on, maybe we can meet somewhere and ride for a couple of days.

Looking at the calendar, it seems unlikely I'll make it to Colorado this year. If the stars align and I get a chance to go, I'll give you a shout.
