An RS, HD 1250, and a Triumph roll into a viewpoint for Mount Hood. - Ray - 07-01-2021 Phenomenal riding. Perhaps a fluke but the RS led the way. He has only had the bike 3 weeks so he reserves judgment, but so far loves it. He thinks it handles like a GS. His only concern is potentially marring the black externally spoked rims. He plans on using zip ties with his 1st tire change. In reference to Grumpy's thread on tire changing I note that this is a traditional guy who uses wood blocks and tire levers with a hand held bead breaker and a few wrestling techniques to make all his changes. The tall young Thruxton rider and mechanic, who's built like a cyclist, thinks nothing of longer distances. It's all what we are ised to. Ray, I am sure it was not a fluke but watch out for those old guys in Roadcrafters.
