Hello from a new member - NHrider - 09-20-2021 Hello, I recently picked up a 2016 R1200RS, and just joined the forum. I came from a F800s that I owned for 5 years/30,000 miles. I loved that bike, but Ive wanted an R1200RS ever since I learned about its existence 3 years ago. Well, now i have one, and im wondering why I didnt buy it years ago. Im looking forward to learning and sharing knowledge about these bikes. Anyways, Here's a photo of my bike...on my bike. And my 2007 F800s Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk RE: Hello from a new member - Lee - 09-20-2021 Welcome to the forum. What town in NH? I lived in Woodsville for awhile when I was a kid. Nice bike carrier. RE: Hello from a new member - Pyrrho - 09-20-2021 First I've seen of a bike carrier like that. Pretty dope. I like the upright mount NHrider has better. RE: Hello from a new member - Grumpy Goat - 09-20-2021 (09-20-2021, 08:58 AM)NHrider Wrote: Hello, Welcome to the Forum Community. I know you will find lots of useful information here and am sure you will enjoy your RS as we do. Interesting bicycle rig ... you must get lots of looks as you go down the road. Hello from a new member - NHrider - 09-20-2021 The looks can be concerning as sometimes "just a look" turns into a driver trying to take a photo....while they're driving haha Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk RE: Hello from a new member - Pyrrho - 09-20-2021 (09-20-2021, 11:16 AM)Lee Wrote: I like the upright mount NHrider has better. Agreed, and with a bit of Google-fu it looks like a 2x2 Cycles rack. Hello from a new member - NHrider - 09-20-2021 Correct. Is the 2x2 cycles vertical mini rack Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk RE: Hello from a new member - Pyrrho - 09-20-2021 Who needs an adv tourer to go offroad when you can strap a real offroad bike to your sport tourer? Will definitely be looking into something like this when I get my moto scoot. RE: Hello from a new member - Ray - 09-23-2021 And the beauty of the 2 by 2 vertical rack is that you can also mount your top case.... Love the perspective from the rear as the large bicycle wheels seem to dwarf the RS. Well done. Welcome aboard. |
