Text or email me a picture and I'll post it Smile

I guess I can take the hint that the guidance provided is too "comprehensive" ... Big Grin

Suggestion ... you could try posting from your phone using Tapatalk. Some have found that easy since it give sizing options before posting the photo.

Believe me, I wasn't trying to call anyone's baby ugly! I'll explore TapATalk (again), as it's been a few years!

For me, the trick to posting, is to resize the picture before I try to post.

Hehehe ... don't worry. I didn't see it that way. In my line of work I have to produce guidance notes quite often, and I sometimes get similar feedback. I am happy if I know that all the information is there and I did my part putting it out. Takes my time and effort, so I figure my job is done. Big Grin

Good luck with the Tapatalk. I see you started a thread in the "Off Topic" area ... good I will keep an eye there if you need guidance and we can kill off that when done.

How to resize images for upload in Windows - Pyrrho - 04-01-2022

To resize images in Windows 10/11

1) open the image in Photos
2) click on the triple-dot icon (upper-right) and select Resize
3) click on Define custom dimensions
4) ensure Maintain aspect ratio is selected and enter a new height or width (the other changes automatically to preserve aspect ratio)
5) click on Save Resized Copy

Depending on whether your image is portrait or landscape, keep whatever dimension is longest to 840 or less pixels for maximum compatibility.

Lee has recommended for landscape images to use 1200 or less for the width, and on portrait images use 750 or less for the height and you should be good.

I think Wayne prefers a width around 840 on this site for landscape pictures.
After resizing a picture make sure it's under 500 kb.

Yes, even going up to 1000 px width is fine. Beyond that there is the risk of side-to-side scrolling.

OK. I've edited my instructions.

Thanks, Craig, for your guidance! Got me across the goal line!
