Other have preceeded me in joining this Forum as I see a lot of familiar names across the content.
I'll hope to contribute here as well as owner of the R1250RS in it's most beautiful color.

I didn't realize color perception was a function of elevation.......

After so many "insults" about the color, I've decided to sell my "golden" R1250RS and ordered a brand new KTM 1290 Superduke GT to join the club in beautiful Dutch Orange.
But, I won't be leaving you all, as my wife still has her golden copy of the 1250RS to stay updated about everything that is going on with BMW's stepchild.

So you went from Austin Yellow to Orange, eh? Do we see a pattern here ... At least Orange is apparently the preferred colour of the Dutch ...

Did you get the SDGT yet? And if so, how do you like it compared to the RS?
I am thinking about the same switch ( or Super Adventure S).
