Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it. As we're inundated with all the commercials and encouragement to spend spend spend, take a moment out of all of that and consider how lucky some of us are to be living in places where we enjoy peace, relative comfort and prosperity. Always be mindful of the fact that each of our situations could change with the smallest movement of a clock hand. Do something kind for someone you don't know. Then, try and make it a practice you repeat throughout the year.

)We should all be thankful that we have motorcycles to ride as a luxury and [likely] not the only means of transportation because that is all we can afford. I grew up in a country where motorcycles were not toys people had to ride on a weekend, but were the only means of transportation for all who had one. Not only do we have a motorcycle as an enhancement to our lives, but a BMW or two or three ... We indeed need to be thankful.
So Happy Holidays to all and stay safe ... and warm.

Hope everyone had an excellent Christmas! We had a nice few days of that extreme (normal for some, here on the forum) winter blast in NC. Temps down to 5F are most certainly beyond my ability to function on 2 wheels, lol. Looking forward to lots of riding opportunities in '23. Happy New Year to all

Seems like most of the US had a good cold spell. Ours lasted about 5 days. We had a 24 to 30 hour period where the temps stayed -12 to -15 F.
It was sunny so it looked nice out with the fresh snow, but when you stepped outside in the cold and 30 to 40 mph winds you quickly noticed it was not
We went to Ames Iowa on Christmas day to see two of my sisters and their kids. 110 miles north of us.
Driving home at night we could only go 40 to 45 mph on I-35 because it was snowing enough we had trouble seeing where our lane was. Except for driving through Des Moines the traffic was light and everyone was driving sanely.

Likewise we had a cold spell for several days through Christmas and many had pipes burst and other misery as a result. I was lucky this year. We just came back from a 3-day / 2-night camping trip and it started off cool but ended up in the 70s today.

Does your camper have a way to heat the water lines and holding tanks so they don't burst when using it in freezing weather?

Yes, it has an enclosed underbelly with heating elements on the tanks. Didn't have to use it while we were camping.
When in storage I usually run the faucets dry after turning off the water pump, and then leave the faucets open so that any entrained water in the lines can expand as they freeze. I then turn on a small heater in the compartment with the water filter and accumulator tank to keep any water in them from freezing. I don't bother to evacuate the whole system and re-fill with antifreeze (called winterizing) since our hard freeze events are few and far between.
