New member here! - BEEMA - 06-21-2023 Hi Everyone.. just popped in to say hello.. just gone from a r1250 gsa to a new 2023 bmw r1250 rs se triple black.. will post some pics as soon as I upload a few.. hoping to give and receive tip's but for now any help would be welcome.. but as noticed one thing different about the new esa adjustment.. well I hope it is new or I may have a faulty esa unit.. for example on my bmw r1250 gsa 2021 model I had the option to change the esa preload settings from min/Auto/and max.. never bothered with the max setting but did use the min settings to help flat foot better when two up or sitting on the bike pushing the bike backwards.. I did hear that all new bmw with the new esa now do not have a max setting now.. just min and auto! also when I set my r1250 rs se to min I do not feel or noticed the bike lowering.. is this normal? if so I will miss the lowering function.. RE: New member here! - Grumpy Goat - 06-21-2023 Welcome to another member from the UK! Good to have you all here. Hope you get an answer soon to your ESA question. Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your question as I don't believe my 2020 RS has the same settings as your newer model year. Welcome to the site. I've seen at least 2 posts about no Min on the 2023. You may be one of them, I don't remember the names of the posters. Saw it mentioned for the 2023 RS and R. On the 2022 you can fell it lower when switching to Min when the engine's running. I set both of ours to Min yesterday before using a front wheel stand and I could feel both bikes drop. They were at Max before changing. RE: New member here! - BEEMA - 06-22-2023 Thanks for all the replies.. since found out from main dealer that the new ESA is different from the previous ESA.. However the owners manual still states min/max and Auto pre selection on the 2023 owners manual.. that what was confused me but must admit it dose not take much to confuse me with me "getting on now" but not yet passed it.. I think ![]() RE: New member here! - Lee - 06-22-2023 (06-22-2023, 12:22 PM)BEEMA Wrote: Thanks for all the replies.. since found out from main dealer that the new ESA is different from the previous ESA..
