1250 RT for 2023 - Dr Ron - 07-17-2023 I would like to lower my bike with 30mm lower front and rear shocks...1) has anyone else done so with the 1250 RT, does it adversely affect cornering clearance? 2) Is there a shorter or adjustable side stand and shorter center stand available? Thanks! please email me at rintini10@gmail.com if you wouldn't mind doing so in addition to answering on the forum RE: 1250 RT for 2023 - Ray - 07-17-2023 Think you'll find only one guy on this forum with an RT and he stands about 6'5, so ready to bet he's not lowered the suspension. You might click on this link to the RT forum - BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum A quick search for suspension lowering will pull up a couple of threads and recommendations for Tractive products. A more efficient move might be to talk to Ted Porter or Jeff Favorite at the Beemer Shop. RE: 1250 RT for 2023 - Motorhead1977 - 07-17-2023 If you're East Coast US try Bob's BMW in Jessup, Maryland. They can do it. I know because I considered lowering my 2018 RT but instead sold it and bought a RS. Best decision ever. |
