Sneaky RS
#1
I bought this shirt at the National because of the R90s image (my first BMW). It wasn't until this morning I noticed the RS in the background. I like seeing both because the RS is hardly ever featured in branding and because the RS reminds me of my 90S in many ways.

Also funny they got the dates wrong. Maybe a collector's item ? [Image: 3ef7993e12f45647a30ac2811892ac56.jpg]

Took me a minute to notice that the orange background is the side view of the RS. Nice! IDK about collector item status but one never knows. ?

2022 was the 50th anniversary for the BMW MOA.

So the shirt is for the organization, not the rally. That makes sense. Did they skip the rally one year?  All of the other branding in VA was saying the 50th Rally in 2023.

They had to skip 2020 because of Covid. If it had not been for Covid this year would have been the 51st National Rally.

Thanks for the clarification!

Whenever I see anything about the R90s, I can't help but think about the Cycle magazine cover with a picture of the gold colored model and the caption "is any motorcycle worth $3,000?"

History answers a resounding "YES"
