No I have not. I have no doubt that it makes fine coffee but the problem with a Moka pot (for motorcycle camping / travelling) is its bulk and the fact that it is only single purpose. The Nanopresso is also single purpose but it is significantly smaller.

If you're going to a boiler like the Moka, then a smaller version I've carried for years is a GSI steel boiler. Of course, the trick is getting a hand operated mill to grind the beans fine enough.

The last few years - and especially if I'm with a few other people - I bring an MSR pot that accommodates a cut-down press, so I don't spend an hour making multiple cups. Some cold mornings, 2-4 ounces of espresso just ain't enough.

This one's from Bialetti and serves 2.
