I made two. While on the lathe to cut off the heads, I used a file to make the ends bullet shaped to ease wheel fitment. Older rear drives had enough of a lip to position the wheel on installation. I can't see why these rear ends don't have that as well.

I didn't get that fancy, I just beveled the one end I touch with my fingers Smile
I put a rubber cap over the threads of the one I carry on trips.
I don't remember the bolt and thread size. I took a wheel bolt to the hardware store to make sure I got the right size.
