Your previous post was in the right place (Forum) just that it was part of another thread by another newbie. No problem.

Welcome again.

NW Arkansas would be a nice place to live with all those good roads.
Each October we meet a small group of other riders in Yellville or Jasper.
In April on our way to Texas and back we spend a night or two in Mena and Eureka Springs.

Did you see there's a new Independent mechanic east of Oxford now. He used to work at a BMW shop in Texas.

It is a good place to live except for times when the tourists are thick and then we have too many RVs and general traffic.

Did not know about this independent BMW mechanic. We lost the one dealership in the area about 3-4 years ago. I do most of the maintenance on the bike anyway so it would have to be something major to go to him and he is about 170 miles east of me and I have no way to get the bike to him. Thanks for the information.

Cuznbob is legit. He came highly recommended on the Two Wheel Texan forum, I used him for the 18K service (valves, etc) on my S1000XR. Completed on time, provided his work sheet for valve check, and for the price quoted. And took the time to explain what he did.
He did my work at his independent shop in Austin, my understanding is he worked at Lone Star BMW (Austin) for years until around the time they were bought out by Ride Now.

Highly recommend.

Understand, he was 100 miles away from me. But so was the MegaDealer.

Welcome BTW, I left that out earlier.
