Hi guys and girls, after much deliberation and 50 yrs biking mostly
sports bikes until 2005 when I joined the super naked clan have now decided wait for it. Time to grow up a little bit and get something a bit more practical, especially for any future European tours, I have just about to purchased a new r 1250 rs se in black being delivered next week. I am rather excited and believe this to be my last bike? SWMBO says she hopes so as I’ve spent a small fortune on bikes over the yrs. regards to all Lou (my nickname).

Many thanks.

I just informed my wife that my time on the RS is a sign of my maturity.... (You can probably feel the eye roll through your computer.)

Welcome aboard - suspect you'll find this bike does everything you ask it to.

Welcome to the Forum Community, Lou. Always good to have another member from the other side of the pond. Smile

I am sure that you will enjoy the RS as much as we do. You will find that it probably has as much if not more character than all the other sport and naked bikes combined. Wink

I have a riding buddy that has been saying that for almost 20 years, (5 or 6 bikes ago) he's going to be 83 pretty soon!
