The beautiful 2022 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello

Also, they have released details on the optional bags. Details further down in this new ride review:

Note, too, how the bags attach--while you have to remove the pillion seat to attach/detach the bags, they don't take mounting hardware, so that's nice. Be interesting to see top case possibilities. I do think it's a detriment that there's no center stand--looks kinda like the Griso, in that there's no way to put one on.

Give me the green one all day long and yes I want the luggage also...
The bike would really have to be special for me to move away from the RS.

I have no issue with that colourway. AAMOF it is my preferred colour scheme. There is a red variant as well.

I like the look of the silver header shields better than the black ones shown in early pictures.

Missed that. I totally agree ... I like the silver better as well. The panniers also look nice too.

I'm smitten. It's got that Italian automotive style thing going for it. My '18 Alfa Giulia had the same effect on me when I first saw it. I brought it home straight away. Always had a thing for Guzzi's....and I'm in luck (or cursed) as there's a Guzzi dealer only 90 miles from me (actually closer to me since I already go 125 miles to my BMW dealer since dealing with the one 7 miles from my home is like petting a porcupine). We'll have to see how they place the price point. Of course it'll have to be something really special though before I will give up my RS.

It's nice there's 5 colors but it would be better if all the colors were available in all trim levels.
Good looking bike.
The odd shape bags might be hard to pack.
Bag mounts and engine guards do not distract from the looks of the bike.

I agree that it would be better to have all 5 colours across the models but this is not uncommon at all, as they try to push the more profitable models. That said, it was nice to see the base model also with quite nice colour choices.

I don't think the panniers are oddly shaped ... AAMOF they look pretty boxy to me so should be easy to pack. If anything they may be a bit smallish but then the lines look good ...

Disappointed to hear in the video that the Premium S model was the only one with a quickshifter and according to this person was only a QS up, not an auto-blipper down. Good to read that it actually does come with a QS in both directions from the technical specifications online. MSRP of US$17,490 is not bad compared with other imports in the genre including ours ...

It's a great looking bike and a future classic. Not cheap though.
Can't wait to see one in the flesh.

You and me both. I am definitely going to try and get a test ride and hopefully record on video too.

I now have a Guzzi dealership only 10 miles from my house so I'll be making a visit to do some reconnaissance as soon as one arrives there.

I periodically check the "New Inventory" of the one here in Houston just to be sure. I believe that they won't be showing in our showrooms until sometime in the new year.

It is a lovely bike, could do with a bit more power but otherwise very nice indeed. There is a Guzzi dealer not far from me, which is actually on my route to the office when I go there, so will drop in at some point to have a look (if they have one).

Looks like the rack needs a large plastic plate like Givi uses when mounting a top case.
Any pictures out there of the rear rack without the top box on it.
