I suspect your VIN starts with RK. If that is the case your Yamaha SMAX was built in Taiwan.

I never had any interest in any of the Maxi-Scooters.
I like the ones in the 250 to 300 size.
A 250 has enough power for hilly roads and can go on a interstate if you have to.

I have to agree with Lee re maxi scooters. My SMax is 155cc and is fine for up to 80kms/hr (50 mph) 2 up. I could see me on a Xmax 300cc but the only way I would go with higher displacement is if my health keeps me off a proper MC. The TMax does look sweet. Never say never.
