Good Day!

Purchased a 2020RS a few weeks ago with 16,000kms. Its my 2nd BMW the 1st being a k75 barn find. All my previous bikes were Japanese beginning at 9yrs old with a 1970 z50 Honda. The Previous owner of my RS dressed it in fine Ilmberger Carbonparts which are super bling-bling   This bike is my first horizontal twin and it took only about 50 kms before I was in love. Its amazing

Welcome to the Forum Community, Norm, and to boxer ownership. They are special and if nothing else they exude "character" - something usually lacking in Japanese bikes, IMO.

As for the RS ... mine took 800 miles for me to fall in love with it, since until my first long trip I was like "WTF did I just buy" .... Now after 7+ years of ownership I still smile after coming home from a nice ride ... Enjoy yours.
