Yes, but only by an insignificant amount if one were to lift it. Gains in power and top speed are similarly small - 10 hp / 6 lb.ft (I think) and 6 mph, or something like that. I am sure that more details will be flooding the Internet soon.

I wonder if the silver panels on the bags come in different colors or at least can be removed to paint.
They would be easier to paint than the complete lid.

True.  But, I would be happy if they also fit the R1300R and R1300RS.  You know, like the old days........

I'd like to see rubber lid protectors again. We had rubber guards on the K75S and K1200RS.
I see two black pieces on the lids but they are too small if they're rubber protectors.
