I'll probably replace them after our Texas trip in April.
I pulled my Z8s off at about 3K and replaced them with Q3+ with the intention of running the Dunlops for a couple of track days, moving them to my dedicated track bike, and then putting the Z8s back on the RS. But after riding with the Q3+, I just couldn't. The improvement in the handling of the bike compared to the Z8 was dramatic. I ended up tossing the Z8s and putting a pair of RSIV on the RS. The RSIV is much closer to the Q3+ than the Z8. The next time I track the RS, I won't even bother changing the tires. The conservative traction control on the RS hides a lot of the grip difference between the Q3+ and the RSIV.

I guess that depends on which rebate you want. If you want the $100 rebate you must buy it from a Dunlop Pro Dealer but if you just want the $25 or $50 rebates, then anywhere online would work. I always get my tires from Revzilla, although even there the prices are ridiculous at present. I can only imagine what prices would be at a Pro Dealer if you don't "know a guy" ...

Bob if you want to use the rebate you can't buy the tires online.

Maybe not so clear.
The flyer states that it must be bought at a Pro Dealer, and the fine print says:
Rebate valid only with a copy of proof of purchase of qualifying tires. Tires and installation must be on the same receipt. Offer available only at authorized participating Dunlop Motorcycle Tires Pro Dealer retailers in the United States and Canada. Purchases made through distributors, online websites, Amazon or online auctions, including Ebay, do not qualify.
Cycle Gear stores are Pro Dealers and are bricks and mortar with an online presence, and also with installation services in some stores. I am sure that you can buy from Cycle Gear online and have the rebate honoured.
When I bought my RS4s from Revzilla (not Pro Dealer as far as I can tell) after the 2022 Springfield Rally, I was able to submit by receipt and get my $150 rebate (via Dunlop-branded Mastercard; which I have already spent). That deal did not involve installation (which Revzilla do not do directly). I also no longer have the rebate flyer to see what the fine print said, but I did buy it online and I did get my rebate no problem.
Anyone thinking of buying online via Cycle Gear can contact Dunlop and find out if the rebate will work.

Looking at the current prices on roadsmart tires. The 4 are $100 more than the 3. No mention of the rebate on either Reveille or Cycle Gear. It appears that the Cycle Gear stores in my area don't offer mounting services. They also don't have the tires in stock. These two stores have almost identical web site and tires selections pages. Exact same price. Anyway, $323 for a set of the 3 and $447 for a set of the 4. Gonna order the 3 again as I like them just fine.

Bob - you might consider trying these guys. I’ve not look at their prices. They are a NoMar company. I see they have a grand opening in a new facility in the St. Louis area where NoMar has been headquartered (or at least were last I checked)

I don't think you will go wrong. The III didn't stop being great tires when the IV came out. For that reason I have no hesitation to get a set of the III and save what would be like 7 fill-ups of mid-grade gas.

That is a great price. I have to remember to include J&P Cycles in my list of online retailers since they are a part of the Cycle Gear - Revzilla group and I have had good prices and service from these two in the past.

Above posts very interesting. The mototiresusa site was strange at least on Safari. Have ordered from JPCycles even though they say the 180/55/17 rear tire is not correct for our bike. Thanks for the heads up Lee. That's a whole lot of savings! My old tires are not worn out at all, but I want the pleasure of new rubber for our outing in May. I'll also need a new battery to start the season. First time I've bought a battery in many many years.
Got my tires fro J&P last night via UPS. So good service. Date codes are 3122 and 1622 so they are ok fresh. Not sure how it's going to work putting the tires out on the driveway to heat them up in March weather. Gotta find an alternative for warming.

If you have a trouble light and incandescent light bulb, stack the tires with the light down in the center and cover the top with aluminum foil.
Place it in your basement or garage overnight.

I ordered a set of RS 4s from RevZilla on Dec 26, and they were $369 for the pair. They are now listed at $447 the pair. Holy cow! I too love a deal, so I just ordered the RoadSmart 3s from JPCycles for $250 the pair. Thanks for the tip Lee!
Next week I'll order 2 Roadsmart 3 back tires and have them sent to Blanco Texas for our April trip.
I think we have enough tread on the existing tires but I'll get some new ones to be sure.
We have about 7,000 miles the existing tires. I have 4/32" tread depth remaining and Debbie has 3/32"
