The ShiftCam produces 65% more torque at 2K than your Tracer does at 8K. I don't think gearing can make up for this.

No it can’t, but that was not my point. I am not talking about numbers on paper, but the actual experience in the bike, when ridden at other than the limit by the typical rider.
