Thank you.  It.  In my opinion it's so much better looking than the grey.  Makes the bike look finished rather than a hodge podge.  Of course I now have a set of matte grey lids/hinges sitting in a box since I had a new set of lids painted to match.  As some point I'll list them for a very attractive sale price.  Taking tomorrow as a mental health day (forecast is for 80*) and take it out for a ride without the need to wear my winter survival gear.

It is a safe bet that you and I have the only two fully yellow 1250RS's in existence.  This is good, because now we can create confusion if someone ever tries to ID us by our bike.  Until now, me saying "Are you sure it wasn't the other guy on the all Yellow RS?" hasn't worked because there were no other bikes like mine. Not saying this scenario likely, but it is good info to have in pocket.  Cool

We'll need to get a pic together someday.

Excellent idea to keep in mind. I also now have a yellow top box as well but the top box isn't often on the bike.
A picture together would be great. We usually get to the Smokey Mountains in NC every year except this year the group I go with is going to Abingdon VA from 5/15 to 5/21if you get to the area.

While you're there, take a (bicycle) ride on the VA Creeper Trail!

And then there were THREE (unless that's your bike up for sale). Buddy of mine sent me this cycle trader listing for one in FL:
Even has the top box matched as mine does!

The 3 decals on the panniers are a bit much. The small RS decal would be plenty.
With Austin Yellow I think it's worth the expense to color match the lids.

Lee, I agree that the three decals are too much. My only guess is that BMW must have figured that the yellow wouldn't sell enough units to justify color matched bags. Oh well, I'm very pleased with the outcome on mine.
