What to do??
#1
What to do with the location holes for the mirrors, which I currently have covered with a couple of stickers, not a good look, but it's all I had laying around.

Looking for ideas, suggestions, maybe a sticker, of sorts, but purpose made, something rs related or BMW..  Huh

Anyone out there handy with photoshop.  Big Grin

Cheers, windy

You need block off / blanking plates. Check out this Google search ... maybe there is one there that will fit.

It was the MOA forum.
Post number 135 has a picture and link, but the parts are currently unavailable.
He plans to mill them down flat.
There may be a UK supplier that has them.

Gone with this for now, until I decide whether or not to take the panels off and have a permanent job done. I could look for some used panels and have then sorted, although, I'm thinking in a crash, they 're likely be beyond repair.

I do like the look of the Photoshoped photo that pyrrho posted.

What size is the hole threads and pitch? I found these on Amazon M10x1.25 mirror hole plugs in different colors: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=m10x1.25+mirr...doa-p_2_14.

The threaded holes are in the mirror base.

Here's what the holes in the fairing look like.

Here's what the holes in the fairing look like.

Was going to suggest looking for black rubber or plastic plugs at Lowe's, Home Depot, or some hardware store, however the one oblong hole would be hard to find something for and you probably don't want four of these plugs showing.

You make a good point. I would only mess with the panels if I could pick up some cheap used ones, but that's looking unlikely so the eyes have it... For now..
