I happened to be driving downtown on the RS to watch a Montreal Canadians pre-season hockey game when I found a nice MOTO-ONLY parking spot next to about 4 police cars parked on standby, I guess for crowd control. As I finished putting my gear away in the saddle bags one of the cops motioned me over to him. My first thought was damn, he doesn't like the aftermarket slip-on and I am now going to get a ticket. Instead, he introduced himself and complimented me on the bike saying I am the first RS he's seen since he bought his 4 years ago 
We then had a quick back and forth about my 1250 vs his 1200. When I walked away I was quite confident my bike was in good hands parked beside 4 cop cars and at least one bmw rs owner
