The only 2 changes interest me are:
- Disengageable capability ABS is dropped.
- New optional equipment: Driving Modes Pro option now includes engine drag torque control.
The rest I would not pay for, and I hope that the cost is unchanged.

I like the sport screen option better than the standard 1250RS screen.
I don't know what engine drag torque is, we already have what I call a slipper clutch.
I never shut off ABS for off road use so that option being dropped is not a big deal to me.
I'm too cheap to buy any of the 719 stuff.
I wonder what the new Sport muffler looks like?

I think the sport muffler was an option since RS came out. I think it is listed on the MaxBMW Fiche. Just looked on the parts fiche and they even have a different item listed for the EU - 3 and EU - 4 engines.
I believed the engine drag torque control might be adjustable engine braking based solely based on how I interrupt the order of the words.

Screens and mufflers are better handled in the aftermarket, and likely for less dosh.
Some higher performance bikes have the ability to vary the engine breaking, which is what I suspect is what they mean by “engine drag torque”.

And you were not wrong. Variable engine braking is a thing now. At least on some bikes that allow higher levels of rider mode selection.

... What's that mean? One can't turn off the ABS? That would make playing in the dirt and gravel a little harder.... It would no longer be the all-around bike it is.

That is what I took it to mean. I think it’s a step backwards. There’s no need to force the nanny wheels on the rider.

I would be curious as to the number of riders that have actually turned-off the ABS? I never have on a bike and did it once (traction control, actually) in a car

In cars both of us have shut traction control off plenty of times in the winter when almost stuck or trying to go up a ice covered incline.

Even with RWD in my car, I've never been able to get an advantage in snow or ice by turning off the ABS

I've only turned it off twice when I found I was going to dead-end on narrow gravel lanes and had to do an about-face. (I suppose I could have tried it with the ABS on - but what's the fun in that....)
If you haven't tried them, you'll find that off-road modes on various bikes (including some of my favorite KTMs) will shut off rear ABS while maintaining front ABS.

I just purchased a 2020 RS.... the sport screen on the 2021 does look great, but I like the white frame on my Austin Yellow.

Yes they can. I bought a 2019 R1250RS a couple of weeks ago and asked the dealer to give me the latest TFT update (because I had heard that can fix problems with Bluetooth pairing), so my TFT includes the Sport screen, although I haven’t really played with it. My bike is the European “Exclusive” edition which means riding modes pro is included.
On a separate note, a few options that I found interesting that are *not* in this list but are in the 2021 GS update:
1. Heated seat (with 5 levels of rider seat and handlebar heat. You set it up via the TFT and then the handlebar button turns on and off). 2 levels of pillion seat heat switchable via a physical switch next to the pillion seat (so they can adjust themselves)
2. ECO riding mode for improved fuel economy, longer range and what have you
3. Riding mode list selection (the tft has a set of check boxes for which riding modes you want to switch between like you have for the top line info items now. So if you don’t use dynamic pro or eco for example they wouldn’t clutter up the selection. More of a big deal for the GS because it now has 7 modes if you have riding modes pro)
...it would be nice if these become options on the RS.
