That link does not work. Can it be that you intended to link to the Maintenance intervals / Service for BMW R1200RS LC (2015-)?
I show the Maintenance Schedule on the RSWb main website, and for no service up to 60k miles is torquing the heads indicated. The Standard Scope service also does not include this. I would think that without it being stated on the User Manual, the shop manual should not require it unless it is a free service. That would be a sure way to pi*s off a whole bunch of people.
When my RH cylinder head was replaced after my 2016 accident (at 12k miles) I was advised to check the head torque after 1200 miles (I believe) and the shop claimed it was fine. I would think that there is no need to check it if there was no disruption from the factory installation.
