On my F800GT it would at least give you half a degree when in Celsius. 1degree in Celsius is say 2 or 3 degrees in Fahrenheit (just a guesstimation). I have switched my readout to Fahrenheit just to get a more accurate reading.
Just curious ... what do you do with this perceived extra accuracy? Don't forget, the sensor itself has a tolerance +/- on accuracy anyway and it is likely more than a degree - Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Nothing really. I just thought I would get a somewhat more accurate reading as to what the temp was. It doesn’t really matter. I grew up on the States but have lived in Japan where everything is metric. When it comes right down to it I can just ask Siri and get an accurate answer.
