My two big concerns are how far forward I sit, and does it feel cramped.  After coming from the 1200 Triumph Explorer, I hope I can adapt, I think so, I'm only 5'10".

I'm looking forward to getting used to a "street" bike again, should be fun!

Based on your comment it seems like you are buying this bike without having sat on it ...?

I am 5'-8" and I think that you will find that, if you have average proportions, your butt position would be towards the rear of the seat and you'd have a slight (3/4) lean forward, but you'd find it comfortable as I do.

I think you will adapt just fine, especially coming from the Tiger Explorer 1200, especially if it is the previous generation. Based on a test ride that bike was a bit of a dog performance-wise. Big Grin The RS is not.
