Always an advocate of write less; ride more.
The decrease in traffic in both of the model-specific fora reflect the relative stability of a 10 y-old motorcycle, with many of the engineering wrinkles finally worked out, and the huge library of reliable information about the model that can be obtained by a simple search of the sites.
I love this group - they stay focussed on the ride and generally stick to the mission of the site. When other sites run out of bike-specific questions and answers, there are too many participants who could spend more time on their bikes, but instead choose to turn from motorcycling pedagogues to pedantic demagogues....
Agree - kudos to GG for this site and his associated everyman videos on his maintenance of his RS.
(If looking for more regular content - perhaps a more magazine-like format..., I'm thinking posts of monthly or even weekly editorials or stories - invited or submitted, with perhaps a sponsor for some of that content..., and then there's the inevitable 20-y collection of stories and posts that get published in book form. (Just a parentheitcal thought. Heading out to ride, now.)
Wishes for a great up and coming year for all.
