The adventure bike that keeps me honest.

A few weeks ago, the wife of 42 y told me it was time for another bike trip. "Yes dear." To save money, I took my other bike - the one with pedals.

If a good man understands his limitations, I've had a few weeks of therapy with intravenous goodness and several large doses of humility.

For what it's worth, came into Oark down the mountain to the North on dirt roads.... Sitting at a table with a former local now out of GA who inadvertently did the same thing on his FZ.... (The occasional evils of Google.)

The bike with bags and racks runs 50 pounds and about 80 pounds loaded. My legs supply an average 0.1 HP (with bursts of about 1.8 HP to top some of the hills. (15 degrees uphill on gravel? Really?)
