Tried out my new Metzeler M9RRs on a ride to from my secret HQ in the Snoqualmie Valley to the Chief Joseph and back. Handling on the small roads between Shaniko and Fossil, and between Condon and Wasco, was great. Maybe just a tad more "neutral" on turn in than my previous M7RRs, but I'm not really that discerning. It was raining as we left John Day for Rufus on Sunday, and they worked just fine in the wet. I actually forgot to change from "Dynamic" to "Rain" mode, but that was OK. All of this was on OXCART, my '22 R1250RS.
Glad I wore my Aerostich Darien jacket with the 'lectric liner for that ride, as it was pretty cool for late June.
Tomorrow heading out on a ride up through Darrington to Rockport, then East on Hwy 20 to Pateros. Maybe come back on Hwy 2 on Monday morning. I sure am happy with my RS! Hope all you scooter trash are enjoying your Summer '25 riding season as much as I am!
