AS I could not sense any wobbling problems while riding and the tires continued to give me confidence despite their "cupped" appearance.... I rode most of this season on them incl some week-long trips. Always felt ok on the road.

I FNALLY had to replace them at 21,300 kms or just over 13,000 miles as they were absolutely wore down to the wear bars in the contact patch area. Should I be happy with that ????????

Absolutely. You did exactly what I would do. I have ridden with cupped tires before and without issue, e.g. vibrations or harmonic resonance of the steering (wobble) or issues with rain grooves. They just did not look that nice. Rode them down to the wear bars and got my money's worth. The RS IIIs I had had did not cup. Just over 13k miles is excellent.
