Drive shaft is now a consumable

Both my wife and I got a letter for our 2022 bikes. We live in the US.
Both bikes have approx 22,000 miles.
Both bikes had the test last month. One failed and got a new shift. The other one was lubed and reinstalled.

I also got a letter and brought my 2016 R1200RS in to the dealership where a new shaft was installed. Don't know if a test was performed and whether the bike passed or not. I just told them I expected the shaft to be replaced under the program and it was done. Mileage was over 60k miles I believe.

I understood that the shaft would be replaced at 36000 and would not be tested, and then every 36000 miles after that the shaft would be replaced. So, if your had 60000 then the next replacement is 96000.
