Motomate R1250RS Nav Mount Review

I know I’m reviving a 6 year old thread, but I thought it a good idea to keep the pertinent “Moto-mate” info in a single discussion . . .

I recently repositioned the nav system on my ‘24 RS with a Moto-mate mount, and like the new GPS location MUCH better. The question I have is regarding the cable for the unit. It doesn’t have a great deal of slack in the new location. I freed up the cable from its factory “bundling” on the right side of the handlebar, but it really didn’t make a significant difference.

Does anyone know if there is additional “slack” available in the cabling if I remove the “Tupperware” and start playing, or is the “taut” cable normal?
