OK - dissenting opinion here. I've been used to the Nav6 mount on my previous bike, an S1000XR. Right up there like a HUD. It was great. HOWEVER...
It took a while to get used to the lower stock GPS mount on my '22 R1250RS, but now I'm totally used to it. I find I spend a greater percentage of time looking "out of the cockpit," which isn't a bad thing. Also, I've found that when I park my bike, my Shuberth C5 sits nicely over the Nav6, almost like the Nav6 mount on my RS was designed to provide a place for my helmet when the bike is parked. Granted, the helmet doesn't lock in place, but it's fixed much more firmly in that spot than over a mirror or dangling from a footpeg.

I rode in the 2026 Isle of Vashon TT yesterday, and used my Nav6 to find the poker run waypoints. Didn't miss a turn.
