Thanks, GG. Have a buddy with a large collection of bikes and he is very happy with the product.His herd is mainly Italian and Japanese, though, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience using one of these in a BMW.

I understand. As long as the battery itself has good performance characteristics and reputation then it would be perfectly fine. The BMW bike doesn't give a rats what is at the other end of the battery leads.
