Most of the time when a Gore-Tex membrane is used you don't see it.
On your gloves the membrane is probably bonded to the outer layer of the gloves.
On your Klim jacket if you look through the open mesh liner you can see what the membrane looks like.

Agreed. The X-trafit GoreTex is attached to the glove itself so that it does not pull out as the hand is withdrawn, and I can attest that it performs as designed.

Pleased with the glove ... and with all my GoreTex gear. Now just have to worry about sweating to death in hot months.
