Yes I saw that and there is much speculation as to what caused him to go down, but since he said that he was going very slowly and the road was slightly greasy then he obviously was somehow going too fast for the traction he had. I have never used the Metzeler Z8s and while others like them I have also heard enough to make me give them a pass.

I have never had slippery issues due to newness with any of the Michelin or Dunlop tires I have used so far. I have had the tire step out slightly a couple of times after applying tire shine to the sidewalls ... don't ask me how. Huh
