Yes, clearance for the sensor might indeed be a problem on the front wheel. Mine works fine but it has about zero clearance with the brake caliper. Here is a picture.

I will consider the bar end weights if needed, but so far I have been on an almost 4 hour ride and have not had any hand tingling issues. Did you get these for the XR and if so which ones / what weight?
Thanks for the tip for the SYKIK TPMS system for motorcycles on Amazon. I suspect that it may not work with my r/angle valve stems though, since these are on the rim and not on the spoke like on the RS - might not be enough clearance for the sensors.
Yes we do have a similar choice of motos to ride, engine wise.
