I have tried to copy Darrell by putting the tools kit in a tail bag so I can drop the side cases when not carrying all the travel clothing stuff. So I got this Nelson Ring tail bag. Works great! But I didn't think about how it would fit inside the side case when getting into the traveling mode. The bag is just too big when I stuff it in the side case. Doesn't leave much room for other stuff. Maybe I'll try again with a smaller bag, but the collection keeps getting bigger and storage at the house is at a premium:
