It could have, I don't really know. It does produce more horsepower (165 vs 160) and like the previous models, it would have been tuned for more torque. It is not like the new engine in the RR has bags more power. Gains have been of similar orders of magnitude, so when detuned 165 is about right. Its the torque that matters for a roadster.
