Saw a helpful tip on the MOA forum.
On your phone use Google Maps and use the voice command to enter a location or business.
Tap the business name and then select Share.
In Share select Garmin Smartphone Link.
Tap Send and the location is sent to the Navigator or Garmin.
This is much faster than entering the location by hand into the GPS.
You can do a similar procedure in Smartphone Link by using Find Nearby Places but it only seems to work for locations within a 50 mile radius of you.
I have this feature on my Chevy and always figured there had to be a way to make it work with Garmin.
Garmin Smartphone Link is a free app from Garmin. I use it mainly to see live weather radar
on my GPS.
Now if I can only figure out how to shut off the weather alerts and false traffic alerts.
