The rear tire needed fully 2 ounces to balance out. Directly opposite the tpm location. That's eight of the 7 gram weights. I even rotated the tire yellow dot to try and improve things, but that made no difference. Are you guys seeing that much weight needed? Anyone know how much the tpm dohicky weighs?
Congratulations Bob. Yes I have only fought with the rear tires and am yet to achieve success. After the last time I tried, I also bought some tire irons so next time I might meet with success. Good to hear that the front tire is much easier. Yes my rear tire has a lot of weights on it as well. The TPMS is not that heavy. Here is the weight of one that Darrell sent me some time ago for me to try and replace the battery on ... as you know it is a bear of a replacement (designed not to be replaced, actually).
